The Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine is an international leader in cancer treatment, research, prevention, education and community outreach. Employees in Oncology Services work side by side with Washington University medical oncologists providing treatment and coordination care for patients with a variety of cancers. Employees provide immediate access for patients experiencing physical and/or emotional distress due to the cancer diagnosis and assistance navigating the complex treatment plans.

Role Purpose

Acts as a patient advocate by providing education , support and interventions that lead to prevention and early detection of cancer, and navigating patients through diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation process. Performs duties by working with physicians to identify and carry out treatment plans.
