Short Description
Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Advance Practice Nurse) for General Neurology.
Applicant should be board-certified Physician Assistant or Acute CareAdvance Practice Nurse.
Experienced candidates preferred (Neurocritical Care, Neurosurgery, In-patient Neurology, Out-patient Neurology) to meet the needs of this complex patient cohort. Will consider new graduates - Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
The Advance Practice Provider will manage a non-teaching general neurology service line with a high level of clinical autonomy while working closely with general neurology and stroke neurology attendings as well as neurology residents.
The Advance Practice Provider will provide coverage on weekdays and weekends. No night or holiday expectations. Three 13th hour shifts per week.
The provider should be comfortable with reviewing imaging.
Training will be provided to ensure optimal patient care.
Education Requirements
Master's Degree - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is required
License/Certification Requirements
Board certification Nurse Practitioner or Board certification as Physician Assistant; Nurse Practitioner must have acute care certification. Active New Jersey License; American Heart Association ACLS/BLS and CDS/DEA

Scheduled Days / Hours: Full Time; three 13-hour shifts per week; weekdays and weekends
