Job Description:
AHMG Cardiology at Orlando
1613 N. Mills Ave., Orlando, FL 32803
Monday - Friday 4 10 hour days
* position with float to other offices as needed
Obtains a complete and current history of the patient and the reason for the exam.
Performs quality echocardiogram and vascular studies for adequate diagnostic evaluation by the reading physicians.
Obtains all views required for processing. Inputs notes and history at the completion of the exam.
Inputs data at the completion of the exam.
Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
Checks practitioner orders for accuracy and clarify with offices, floors, or physicians as needed.
Notifies the floor if the patient has had an echocardiogram within the past six months.
Utilizes all safety measures provided for the department and individual technologists.
Always uses two types of patient identifiers, such as name and date of birth.
Assures proper positioning, technique, and protocol for each exam. Performs other duties as assigned.

Field of Study: • Graduate of a JCERT approved Cardiovascular program/ARDMS/RCIS registered/registry eligible

Pay Range:
$28.68 - $53.35
