Scheduler I Team Leader: Responsible for daily assignments within this department. Making certain team members have the tools they need to be able to do job efficiently and effectively and that equipment is in working order. Provide additional education when needed. Demonstrates ability to plan and organize workflow to maximize productivity while maintaining quality, safety and patient satisfaction.
Ensures that orientation and training checklists are completed. Makes sure that annual mandatory education is completed, and competencies are assessed and documented. Provides feedback to leadership about team members' performance.
Very knowledgeable about the specific aspects/technical details of the job, and readily share knowledge with others.

Must have 5 years' experience in a medical office.

Responsibilities:
Lead Procedure Scheduler for General Surgery and The Center for Weight Loss Surgery
Has daily responsibility of PSR/Scheduler I clerical duties which includes, making sure all employees are properly trained and education is up to date.
Daily assignments according to physician schedules.
Meet with Practice Manager weekly to discuss any issues. Insure that PSR/Scheduler I team members are clearing buckets with active cases.
Clear any employee time off request's before sending to Practice Manager for final authorization.
Communicate information effectively; ability to make timely decisions. Able to keep confidential information regarding team members.
