WittKieffer has been retained by Centura Health in the recruitment of a collaborative physician leader to serve in the dual role in their Kansas Region as a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for St. Catherine Hospital, St. Catherine-Dodge City and Bob Wilson Hospital as well as the Regional Medical Director (RMD) for Centura Health Physician Group (CHPG).
St. Catherine Hospital, located in Garden City, KS, is the regional health care provider in Southwest Kansas, has 102 beds and offers a broad range of specialties and service lines. St. Catherine – Dodge City is a newly acquired 99-bed hospital. Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital located in Ulysses, KS, is a 26-bed facility serving the community since 1951.
The hospitals are members of Centura Health, the Rocky Mountain and Central Plains regional health care leader. Centura Health generates $3.8B net revenue annually through its 17 hospitals and extensive network of services and providers across Colorado and western Kansas.
Centura Health Physician Group (CHPG) is one of the largest multi-specialty physician groups with 900+ medical providers in 250+ locations across Colorado and western Kansas.
The CMO will provide strategic direction while partnering with leaders from each hospital as well as regional leadership in providing effective multidisciplinary approaches to clinical outcome management and environments of quality and safety.
The RMD portion of this role will have responsibility for the advancement of clinical care excellence and operational leadership to the 45+ employed physicians in the region.
